A little while ago I decided to approach the 64 immutable ideas of the I Ching in two ways. One is – just like the Book of Changes itself – noetic: In my project room no2DO<\/a> I attribute present-time life situations, name frequent response patterns and suggest alternative ways to deal with the situation according the Taoist teachings. In the series SixtyFour K\u014dans<\/a> I assigned hidden titles and paint images without knowing which of the 64 ideas I am specifically working at: an intentional cognitive process.<\/p>\n

Vor einiger Zeit habe ich beschlossen, mich den 64 unver\u00e4nderlichen Grundideen des I Ging auf zweierlei Weise zu n\u00e4hern. Die erste ist, wie das Buch der Wandlungen selbst, noetisch: In meinem Projektraum no2DO<\/a> zeige ich zu den einzelnen Bildern konkrete Lebenssituationen auf, benenne h\u00e4ufige Reaktionsmuster und stelle schlie\u00dflich M\u00f6glichkeiten vor, wie man im Sinne der Taoistischen Lehre damit umgehen.
