Dreams of a Revolutionary Mind
2006 was very productive and creative for me, with human
love as its core subject. Very early that year I wrote: "Perhaps
one must be actually a REVOLUTIONARY to believe in love in this traumatized
society... Now I would like to describe a movement, the slow motion from
fear to love, from collective trauma to the far felt country. I want to
describe how love slowly triumphs..."
And that's what I did.

- "Verstecken": an experiment between finding and seeking, and the reception mechanisms of abstract painting.
- "From the Sunny Islands" (2006): The antipole to "From the Deep Blue", that drowned whaler, do you remember?

- "Homage to..." Usually
artists present "finished" works to their audience, sometimes
with no traces at all of the preceding creative process. The art work thus
appears to be detached, disconnected from the web of thoughts and feelings,
the very matrix that brought it into existence. I conceived Homage
to... as a joint installation project of various artists that are
allowing insights into an artist's creative process and thus makes the
thought processes behind artwork tangible.

Deams of a Revolutionary Mind
2006 war ein ziemlich arbeitsreiches, kreatives Jahr für mich und die menschliche
Liebe war eines der Hauptthemen. Relativ zu Anfang schrieb ich: "Vielleicht
ist man ja wirklich ein REVOLUTIONÄR, wenn man in einer traumatisierten
Gesellschaft an die Liebe glaubt... Jetzt möchte ich eine Bewegung
beschreiben, den langsamen Weg von der Angst zur Liebe, vom kollektiven
Trauma hin in das gefühlte Land. Ich will beschreiben, wie die Liebe
langsam siegt..."
Und genau das habe ich dann getan.

manchmal sind alle Spuren des Schaffensprozesses restlos getilgt, das Kunstwerk
präsentiert sich losgelöst, herausgerissen aus dem Gespinst aus
Gedanken und Gefühlen, jener Matrix, die es zur Entstehung gebracht
hat. Hommage an... ist ein von mir initiirtes gemeinsames Installationsprojekt
verschiedener Künstler, das in die Prozesse künstlerischen Schaffens
Einblick gewährt und deren geheimnisvolle Gedankenprozesse sichtbar
macht.
Im Rahmen von Hommage an... habe ich auch einen Text zum Thema "Inspiration in der Kunst" publiziert
